How the perspective formed

Career, formal training and life experience each shape the work.

Adelynn’s approach has developed through three connected strands. Each adds a different way of understanding how people make decisions, respond to change and repeat familiar patterns.

  1. 01
    Career

Working across systems, industries and levels of responsibility.

Adelynn spent more than 15 years in the corporate world as a business and systems integration consultant. Her work crossed Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Mining, Food & Agriculture, FMCG, Telecommunications, and Banking & Insurance.

Moving from technical delivery into project, service and team leadership taught her to connect operational detail with the wider business context. She also served as a career counsellor and mentor to people within the teams she led.

  2. 02
    Formal training

Bringing disciplined inquiry to personal and professional change.

Her foundation includes an MBA from Bradford School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. She later trained across coaching, hypnotherapy, conscious parenting and human transformation.

Her professional credentials include ICF ACC, EMCC EIA Practitioner, RTT® Practitioner, Clinical Hypnotherapist and Certified Conscious Parenting Coach Practitioner.

  3. 03
    Life experience

Understanding change from inside the decisions it requires.

International moves, career reinvention, major relationship and identity transitions, and single parenthood have made the work personal as well as professional.

These experiences inform how Adelynn works with responsibility, competing priorities, uncertainty and the gap between understanding a pattern and responding differently in daily life.

How this shows up in the work

Connect the dots. Examine the pattern. Make the next choice usable.

Adelynn listens for the beliefs, language, incentives and repeated responses influencing a decision.

Her work combines structured thinking with practical self-inquiry. The aim is to understand the issue beneath the immediate situation, clarify the available choices and translate that understanding into observable action.

  • Context before conclusionsUnderstand the system around a decision as well as the person making it.
  • Patterns before prescriptionsIdentify what repeatedly shapes the outcome before choosing an intervention.
  • Application before abstractionConnect every insight to a conversation, boundary, decision or next step.
  • Agency throughoutSupport people in making informed choices they can own and evaluate.
